LAS VEGAS – A weak national economic recovery will slow down the pace of the housing market rebound this year.
Even with an expected 25 percent increase in nationwide home starts, U.S. housing construction will remain at one of the lowest levels in generations. But at least the numbers are moving back up again, economists at the National Association of Home Builders’ conference this week say.
“The builders have been through a really tough time the last three years,” said David Crowe, the builders association’s chief economist. “It won’t be a strong recovery, but it will be a recovery – that’s still very good news.”

Every year Flower Mound has an awesome Christmas parade. There were over 75 floats in the parade this year and many of them were very cool. Of course, Santa also made an appearance which was pretty awesome. If you have never been, please check it out next year. It will certainly be worth it.
We helped you buy and sell your home, we’ll help you protect your home also! The Real Estate Station, led by Ross Johnson made their presence known at the Country Lakes gatering of “National Night Out”. Thanks to everyone that helped out, and we’ll see you again next year

Tuesday, October 6th, Country Lakes participated in National Night Out in Texas once again. More than 200 people attended even in the rain! The Argyle Police Department cooked the hot dogs and sausages while other volunteers helped serve. They also answered questions and handed out information about safety to the parents and trinkets and balloons to the kids. Members of the HOA Committee, Community Watch, Census Committee, and the Denton Police Department were on hand to answer any questions with free information too. The Argyle Fire District was also there to support National Night Out. Ross Johnson and associates from The Real Estate Station sponsored the hayride and other great giveaways while answering any questions about home sales.

I want to thank you, Ross Johnson and other Real Estate Station representatives for coming to Country Lakes’ National Night Out. I’m the Safety Chair for Country Lakes and organizer for the event. I was very excited when Ross said he would sponsor the hayride! I think it turned out great even with the rain! -Deborah Cottle
